Dr. Robyn Leeder

Since she can remember, Dr Robyn has always been very passionate about health. She says:

“Being as healthy as you can in every sense enables us to live life to its fullest potential. I have seen so many patients who cannot do what they want to do because of less than optimum health. Life is meant to be lived and I want to help people be their best to do that! I just want to empower and inspire my community to live a vitalistic life and reach their full potential by removing interference from their nervous system, help balance and optimise brain function and providing up to date natural health and wellbeing education specific to each patients requirements."

I also have a very keen interest in women’s health, pregnancy and paediatric care, seeing many mums during their pregnancy and their precious babies post the trauma of delivery. My patients have received help with a wide range of issues including breast feeding, colic, reflux and babies mobility problems.

Dr Robyn Leeder is also Webster Technique Certified and has also completed postgraduate courses in Paediatric Care.

Webster technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and gentle adjustment that reduces interference to the nervous system, and especially balances pelvic muscles and ligaments. This in turn decreases the cause of intra-uterine constraint and allows the baby to get into the best possible position for birth. Dr Robyn has helped correct breech and posterior presentations in pregnant women to achieve a safe natural birth. There has been a high reported success rate of the baby turning to the normal vertex position with use of the Webster Technique. Webster technique is suitable for all pregnant women. Webster Technique reduces intrauterine constraint thus enabling baby to get into the best possible position for birth. Webster technique also helps prepare the pelvis for birth often enabling an easier natural delivery.

Following 2.5 yrs of postgraduate study in Functional Neurology and passing exams Dr Robyn Leeder is a Chiropractic Neurology Consultant. She is passionate about functional neurology and the many people she strongly believes she may assist with this drug free alternative for functional neurological issues. Functional neurology techniques used are drug free. After extensive diagnosis of the imbalance or level of reduced function, chiropractic neurology consultants use very specific and non-invasive techniques, cognitive exercises and multi-sensory stimulations designed to increase responsiveness to depressed parts of the brain or other areas of the neuraxis. The functional neurology techniques, ultimately affects our physiology and behaviour.
